It is on the McCloud River Railroad. In 20 years the wood parts are worse for wear, but the scene still looks remarkably similar to when the film was shot. The bridge is just as scary to walk over with the gaps between the ties seeing through to water hundreds of feet below. The railway filed to abandon the line east of McCloud in 2007, and the tracks were removed from the bridge in 2008. I got to see it just in time.
